 Cristina Bastian
Founder and Director

Cristina did her A-levels and her two-year apprenticeship in the hotel industry in Berlin. She then studied economics in Munich. Her first years of experiences in different industries such as hotels, finance and communication she collected abroad. Positions with the internal audit unit at InterContinental Hotels in London and New York, with Mandarin Oriental Hotels in Hong Kong and with Goldman Sachs in London and Frankfurt have shaped her service mentality and her determination for quality.

Through her senior position in one of the most successful luxury travel PR agencies in London, Cristina was exposed to a number of different PR strategies and approaches and was able to gather a variety of ideas. Back in Germany, Cristina joined Söllner Communications in Munich, a full service communication agency and was responsible for PR and events.

Finally, in 2009 Cristina decided to use her broad experience in the hotel industry and in the field of communication as a base for her own business - Pressence was created.
